James Angus
James began his career in estate agency back in 1989 and has, over the years, built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in the residential property market. He’s thrilled to be back on Gosforth High Street and looks forward to sharing his service-led approach with clients of Angus and Co.
A proud family man, James and his wife Sally have grown-up twins who keep life interesting. Outside of work, James enjoys a round of golf, although he readily admits his game is more enthusiasm than skill! He’s also a big sports fan and is excited to see how both Newcastle United and the Newcastle Red Bulls get on in coming seasons.
Jake Scott
Jake was born and raised in Northumberland, where he developed a strong connection to the land through his family’s farm. Building on this foundation, he recently completed his degree in Property Management and Real Estate, an RICS-accredited course, equipping him with a comprehensive understanding of property valuation, management, and investment.
He joins the team eager to apply and expand the knowledge gained during his studies while building a successful career in the real estate sector. With a strong work ethic, a genuine interest in property, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service, Jake is focused on developing both his technical expertise and client-facing skills.
Outside of work, Jake is a passionate sportsman and currently plays rugby for Tynedale RFC. His sporting background reflects his appreciation of teamwork, resilience, and dedication — qualities that he brings into his professional career.
Twiggy
Twiggy was originally interviewed for the position of Head of Security, but it was soon decided that, given her age (almost two), and rather compact size, this might not be the perfect role for her. However, with her cheerful personality and boundless love for people, Angus & Co were thrilled to offer her a new position, Head of Customer Cuddles , a role we all agree she was born for!
